Elizabeth Jane Hurley (born Elizabeth Jane Hurley) is an English model, actress and model who was a former Hugh Grant girlfriend. She gained fame in the mid 1990s. The time that Grant was the center of attention in the media because of his global box-office success in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in an elongated black Versace dress that was secured by gold safety pins. Her appearance gained immediate fame in the media. Her most memorable professional experience is her relationship with the cosmetics company Estee Lauder. Hurley was granted the first model contract she was offered at the age of 29 and has been using her to model Estee Lauder's products since 1995. Her best known cinematic work was as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers popular spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley is the owner of an eponymous swimming brand, and she also models the brand. Perry was signed to two different labels, and was later dropped from them prior to there was a release date for any of her recordings. Capitol Records however released Perry's EP Ur So Gay in 2007. Ur So Gay's title track was a jolly and sly song that attracted minimal notice. "I Kissed" a Girl was a more assertive ode sexism with a sharp edged electronic-pop beat. It was a controversial song and critics were critical of it for encouraging same-sex relationships and other charged that it portrayed a racy scene which appealed to men's desires for female sexuality. I Kissed a Girl, a combination of titillation coupled with a sophisticated tune, allowed I Kissed a Girl to achieve the number one spot in a variety of countries, and to drive the sales of her album, One of the Boys. Hot N Cold was a popular hit in America. the album's second song Hot N Cold with its interesting bouncy, sharp tongued beat gained popularity.
